Chipotle Nutrition Menu 2026
Real calorie counts for the Chipotle menu, pulled straight from the same three-store pricing research behind our full guide — plus an honest list of the handful of items Chipotle hasn’t published a clean calorie figure for, since we don’t estimate what the brand hasn’t shared.

This Chipotle Nutrition Menu covers real calorie figures for 87 of the 97 distinct items in our research — everything from 0-calorie options like the Veggie protein, plain water and Coke Zero, up to 1,310 calories for a Large Chili Lime Chips & Queso Blanco.
A standard entrée (protein + rice + beans + a couple of free toppings) typically lands around 800–1,000 calories before any premium add-ons.
Chipotle doesn’t publish combined meal calories for the Kid’s Menu or a separate figure for Double Protein add-ons — both gaps are disclosed honestly on this Chipotle Nutrition Menu rather than estimated. For real prices by item, see our Chipotle Menu Prices guide.
Protein & Base Calories
Every burrito, bowl, salad, quesadilla and taco on the Chipotle menu starts from the same protein calorie base shown here — whichever format you order, the protein contributes the same number of calories.

| Item | Calories |
|---|---|
| Pollo Asado · Limited-Time | 180 Cal |
| Chicken | 180 Cal |
| Steak | 150 Cal |
| Beef Barbacoa | 170 Cal |
| Carnitas | 210 Cal |
| Sofritas | 150 Cal |
| Veggie | 0 Cal |
These same seven figures apply whether that protein ends up in a Burrito, Burrito Bowl, Salad, Quesadilla or Tacos — we’re not repeating this Chipotle Nutrition Menu table six times for six formats since the protein calories don’t change.
Rice, Beans & Toppings Calories
Rice, beans and most toppings are free at Chipotle, but “free” doesn’t mean calorie-free — here’s what each one actually adds to your order.
| Item | Calories |
|---|---|
| White Rice | 210 Cal |
| Brown Rice | 210 Cal |
| No Rice | 0 Cal |
| Black Beans | 130 Cal |
| Pinto Beans | 130 Cal |
| No Beans | 0 Cal |
| Cilantro Lime Sauce | 80 Cal |
| Guacamole | 230 Cal |
| Fresh Tomato Salsa | 25 Cal |
| Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa | 80 Cal |
| Tomatillo-Green Chili Salsa | 15 Cal |
| Tomatillo-Red Chili Salsa | 30 Cal |
| Sour Cream | 110 Cal |
| Fajita Veggies | 20 Cal |
| Cheese | 110 Cal |
| Romaine Lettuce | 5 Cal |
| Queso Blanco | 120 Cal |
| Double Wrap with Tortilla | 320 Cal |
Guacamole is the heaviest topping on this Chipotle Nutrition Menu at 230 calories, more than double the next-highest topping (Sour Cream or Cheese, both 110 calories).
Chips, Dips & Sides Calories
Chips and their dip pairings carry some of the widest calorie swings on the whole menu, especially once you move up to the Large size.

| Large Tomatillo-Red Chili Salsa | 90 Cal |
| Large Tomatillo-Green Chili Salsa | 45 Cal |
| Large Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa | 120 Cal |
Large Chili Lime Chips & Queso Blanco is the single highest-calorie item we found anywhere on the Chipotle menu at 1,310 calories — worth knowing if you’re sharing a side rather than ordering it solo.
High Protein Menu Calories
Chipotle’s High Protein Menu bundles bigger protein portions into preset bowls, tacos and standalone cups, so the calorie range here runs higher than a single protein topping alone.
| Item | Calories |
|---|---|
| High Protein Cup – Pollo Asado | 220 Cal |
| Double High Protein Bowl | 760 Cal |
| High Protein-High Fiber Bowl | 540 Cal |
| High Protein Taco | 190 Cal |
| High Protein Cup – Chicken | 180 Cal |
| High Protein Cup – Steak | 150 Cal |
| High Protein – Low Calorie Bowl | 470 Cal |
| Double High Protein Burrito | 840 Cal |
| Side of Pollo Asado | 220 Cal |
| Side of Chicken | 180 Cal |
| Side of Steak | 150 Cal |
The Double High Protein Bowl and Double High Protein Burrito both land at the top of this Chipotle Nutrition Menu section, unsurprisingly, since each one doubles the protein portion of a regular order.
Family Meals Calories
Chipotle publishes Family Meals calories as a range rather than a single number, since the total depends on how each of the four to six people build their own plate.
| Item | Calories |
|---|---|
| Build-Your-Own ChickenServes 4–6 | 520–1220 Cal |
| Build-Your-Own SteakServes 4–6 | 490–1190 Cal |
| Build-Your-Own SofritasServes 4–6 | 490–1190 Cal |
| 2 Large Chips & 3 Large SidesServes 4–6 | 430–440 Cal |
Note that the Kid’s Menu is handled differently — see the gap list below for why we’re not giving it one combined number here.
Drinks Calories
Fountain drinks and bottled options round out the Chipotle menu at anywhere from 0 to about 300 calories, with organic aguas frescas and lemonade running a bit higher.
| Item | Calories |
|---|---|
| Organic Watermelon Limeade | 230–330 Cal |
| Organic Lemonade | 170–250 Cal |
| Organic Mandarin Agua Fresca | 190–280 Cal |
| Organic Berry Agua Fresca | 200–290 Cal |
| Fountain Drink | 0–300 Cal |
| Mexican Coca-Cola | 150 Cal |
| Mexican Sprite | 160 Cal |
| Coke Zero | 0 Cal |
| San Pellegrino Sparkling | 0 Cal |
| Poppi Strawberry Lemon | 30 Cal |
| Poppi Orange | 25 Cal |
| Jarritos Mango | 140 Cal |
| Jarritos Guava | 110 Cal |
| Tractor Organic Lemonade | 140 Cal |
| Apple Juice | 240 Cal |
| Open Water Still | 0 Cal |
Exact calories for each fountain cup size (22 fl oz vs. 32 fl oz) are shown in Chipotle’s own online ordering builder rather than as one fixed number per size, which is why we’re reporting the published 0–300 calorie range above instead of a size-by-size breakdown.
What Calorie Info Isn’t Published
Chipotle publishes calorie data for nearly everything on its menu, but this Chipotle Nutrition Menu wouldn’t be honest if we filled in the handful of remaining gaps with a guess. Here’s exactly what’s missing:
- Kid’s Build Your Own — protein calories run 70–120 depending on choice, and tortillas, sides and drinks are each published separately, but Chipotle doesn’t publish one combined meal total.
- Kid’s Quesadilla — same situation as above: component calories are published individually, not as a single combined figure.
- Double Protein add-ons (Chicken, Pollo Asado, Steak/Barbacoa, Carnitas, Sofritas, Chicken/Sofritas) — these list a price on the builder but no separate published calorie figure, so we’re not doubling the base protein number ourselves and calling it official.
If you need an exact combined number for a Kid’s Meal or a double-protein order, Chipotle’s own app nutrition calculator can total it up per build — we just can’t publish that as a fixed figure here since it changes with every selection.
Allergen Information
Chipotle doesn’t publish one single combined allergen chart. The brand does confirm that its corn tortillas, rice, beans, and most proteins, salsas and toppings are made without gluten-containing ingredients as standard recipe items — the flour tortilla used for burritos and quesadillas is the one notable exception.
Chipotle kitchens are also open-format with shared prep surfaces, so cross-contact isn’t guaranteed even among naturally gluten-free ingredients. If you’re managing celiac disease or another serious allergy, our dedicated Gluten-Free Menu guide goes into this in full depth, including which specific items to double-check in person.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many calories are in a Chipotle burrito?
A regular chicken, sofritas or veggie burrito runs about 1,000–1,100 calories once you add a standard tortilla, rice, beans and toppings, with the protein itself contributing 0–210 calories depending on which one you choose.
What is the lowest-calorie item on the Chipotle menu?
Several items land at 0 calories, including the Veggie protein, No Rice, No Beans, Coke Zero, San Pellegrino Sparkling and Open Water Still. The lowest-calorie food topping with actual content is Romaine Lettuce at 5 calories.
What is the highest-calorie item at Chipotle?
Large Chili Lime Chips & Queso Blanco tops this Chipotle Nutrition Menu at 1,310 calories, just ahead of Large Chips & Large Queso Blanco and Large Chips & Large Guacamole, both at 1,270–1,290 calories.
Does Chipotle publish calories for every menu item?
Almost all of it, but not every line. Kid’s Menu items list component-level calories rather than one combined meal number, and Double Protein add-ons list a price without a separate published calorie figure.
Does Chipotle have a full allergen chart?
No single combined allergen chart exists. Chipotle does confirm that its corn tortillas, rice, beans and most proteins, salsas and toppings are made without gluten-containing ingredients as standard recipe items, but the flour tortilla is an exception.
Our Methodology
This Chipotle Nutrition Menu guide was compiled on 15 Sep 2026, using the same three-store pricing research (Atlanta, GA / Dallas, TX / New York, NY) behind our full Chipotle Menu Prices guide, cross-checked against Chipotle’s own official ordering menu at chipotle.com.
Calorie figures held steady across all three markets — unlike pricing, calories come down to food preparation, not location.
87 of 97 distinct items on this Chipotle Nutrition Menu carry a published calorie figure or range; the other 10 (Kid’s Menu components and Double Protein add-ons) are named explicitly above as gaps rather than filled in with a guess.
